The tide fades south passing Xunyang,

Niuchu is situated more strategically than Madang.

I want to cross river Heng but fear the stormy waves,

The sorrow lasts thousand miles hauled by the flow.

海潮南去过浔阳,牛渚由来险马当。
横江欲渡风波恶,一水牵愁万里长。
