Water in Yangtze River is so clean, almost like empty,
Pouring into the green ocean which is at far distance.
Soon we will be separated, thousand miles away,
Let’s leave the sorrowful sentiment in the wine vessels.
The mountain birds won’t stop crying in this sunny day,
Apes along the river banks are whistling with the wind of night.
I almost never burst into tears in my whole life,
But now, at this place, I could not stop but wipe my eyes.
